The company
Our client is well known in the market, and is building up a new activity within chartering and operations . Hence they are expanding their operating staff in order to make sure that both clients and head-owners are having the level of service they should expect . The fleet of chemical tankers are in the sizes 12 to 20.000dwt IMO2. The fleet is brand new with vessels being delivered in the next few months and other modern third party tonnage. The company is involved in world-wide shipping, but the main activity will take place in Northern Europe and Baltic. The company is backed by some well know and solid shipping companies and is, despite the present marked, building yet another foothold for the total business portfolio.
The role
The role is a classic yet modern operator role working with a modern operations tool. The position will offer ample opportunity to develop both yourself and the scope of the operation. Since this is a new and growing company you will have a very good chance to make an important impact on how the set –up of the department will look in the future.
