The role
This role is a pivotal position within the organization. The company is looking for a person who is capable to make a difference in the purchasing team. It will be essential that the person has a deep knowledge of the various tools available in the process and has been dealing with comprehensive contracts and procurement procedures. The role will require that you have been dealing with various aspects of purchase management and that you are able to use and develop logistics strategies. The role will also provide the right candidate with very extensive purchasing opportunities and it will be important that the right candidate has already a very good overview of the way this market is working.
The person
As a person you excel when you can utilize your knowledge and skills to land good purchasing deals. You are enjoying the search for and challenge in getting the best product and deal for your employer and are seeking out alternatives for already existing vendors. You have extensive knowledge of IT systems like Amos W + D, Star, Agresso etc and understand the importance of being able to use these tools both to hence the purchasing procedures and also see the strategic importance to record and manage the various processes involved. You have ambitions to move on in your career from your today’s situation and is seeing this job as a way to achieve this.
