Our client is one of the world leading fully integrated Gas shipping companies in the world. They are operating worldwide with a fleet of about 20 vessels including New Buildings. The company has their offices in Scandinavia, China, Russia, USA, Singapore and in the Middle East.
Our client is known for their innovative and advanced technology both on board and ashore which in turn ensures a top performance towards their customers. The company is looking upon themselves as a service provider being a part of the client’s logistic chain
The role
In fact there are 3 different roles to be filled:
1) One candidate with a technical background from marine studies like marine engineer or naval architect (Master degree) A plus will be a candidate who do speak / write Arabic.
2) One candidate with an economical background with flair commercial deal-making. A Master degree in business or shipping economics would be a perfect background
3) One candidate with either a degree in Accounting or HR. this is to work in the shipping administration department. This candidate does not necessarily need to have any shipping experience, but will have an interest in working a highly international environment.
We are especially interested in hearing from candidates who will be willing to spend some time overseas after the trainee period. This is especially true for the technical trainee.
The person
For all the above we are looking for candidates who thrives in a busy environment and is not afraid of working hard at odd hours. Long days and week-end work is part of the game and your attitude and willingness to do this respect is very important. You will be part of the team and enjoy a multitude of challenges and hence you will get your feet wet.
